My name is Lisa Ling.
I am a dog lover and a hospice nurse.
What brings happiness and joy to my life is helping people. I am especially fond of the elderly and those in need. This is because of my grandmother, Gigi Ling. She was the most important person in my life. My Gig taught me how to love and care for every soul in this world, and it was her that brought the first dog into my life. Charlie Brown!
As a hospice nurse, I have watched too many patients struggling at the end of life. Worrying not only about pain and disease, but about where their beloved dogs will go when they pass. The stress of losing their own life is a heavy enough burden to bear. No one should have to worry about their dogs’ next home after they leave this Earth.
Put together all of these joys and woes, and I knew I needed to help. So here we are!
